The last piton is the one that holds — the anchor you trust when the exposure gets real, the point of commitment before the summit.
We named this place after that moment. Because The Last Piton is where you come to commit to something: rest, wilderness, the people you came with, yourself.
Perched above the highlands of Harman, West Virginia, this is a cabin for people who got here on purpose — far enough from everything that you'll actually exhale, close enough to Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, and Canaan Valley that adventure is always within reach when you want it.
Come stay a while and leave a new you.

Sitting at over 3,000 feet on High Mountain, The Last Piton commands sweeping views of the Appalachian ridgelines across more than 13 private acres.
Inside, three spacious bedrooms — each with at least two windows for a natural mountain cross-breeze — and two full bathrooms give everyone room to spread out, while the open loft, dedicated workspace, and game room mean there's always somewhere to land.
Warm up by the wood-burning fireplace, take the night air from the covered porch on a rocking chair or swing, soak in the brand-new hot tub under the stars, or gather around the firepit as the valley goes quiet below. The kitchen and living areas are stocked with amenities for guests of all ages, including everything families with babies and young children need to travel light. Oak floors, high-speed internet, and a thoughtfully outfitted interior mean you get the mountains without giving anything up.
The Last Piton sits centrally between Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, and Canaan Valley — and is just 2.5 hours from Washington, D.C., 3 hours from Pittsburgh, and 3.5 hours from Baltimore. Close enough to escape. Far enough to matter.
